We review emergency credit facility documentation from BDC or your financial institution and provide a concise summary of what the documents mean, their potential impact on your business, our recommendations regarding any steps to better protect you and your business and an overview of next steps to get the financial help you need.

Overview

  • We conduct a brief interview to help us get a better sense of your business, your industry, the challenges you are facing and what you are looking for help with.

  • We review the credit documentation from your lender and, if you are borrowing through a corporation or partnership, all of your corporate documentation.

  • We provide a concise report summarizing the short-, mid- and long-term implications of the credit documents; any recommendations we have about potential changes to those documents; any recommendations we have to better protect you and your business; and an outline of next steps to close the deal.

This product does not include representation on any loan transaction in which the lender requires a legal opinion.

 
 
 

Process Commitments + Milestones

Within 1 business day of registration:

We send you a questionnaire asking for information about who you are and your current circumstances. We use this information to conduct a conflict check to make sure that we can assist you.

 

Within 1 business day of completing the questionnaire:

You receive an email with an engagement and KYC letter (by DocuSign), a Workshare link and directions on how to upload your documents for our review, our payment link, and a link to schedule a 15 minute introductory call with your lawyer to discuss your current circumstances.

 

Within 3 business days of the introductory call:

You receive your final deliverable for this product: our financial relief report, and a link to schedule a 15 minute follow-up call with your lawyer to answer any questions and discuss next steps.
